Consequences of non-compliance
It doesn't take great foresight to see that the needs of the UK population are changing. 9 million of us in the UK are affected by some disability and that figure will grow by 2020, when half of us will be over 50 years old.

In 1995, the government passed the Disability Discrimination Act to ensure that service providers do not treat disabled customers less favourably because of their disabilities. October 2004 is the deadline for service providers to make 'reasonable adjustments' to ensure that happens.

So how does this Act affect you? What is meant by a service provider? What are the 'reasonable steps' you need to take? What will you miss out on or fall foul of if you do not comply?

DDA Services
can provide all the answers and the chance to capitalise on the opportunities that DDA compliance can offer.
